Bahía de Rincón is one of the most enchanting spots of Hispaniola; it can be reached by boat (15min), 4WD, motorbike or horse. To the northwest (to the left when looking at the sea), you can see the mouth of the Caño Frío, a murky stream of water, home to a small mangrove rich in epiphytes, hanging plants such as bromelias and orchids that dangle from the trees. The spot commands a spectacular view of cabrón headland, which stretches for almost 10km to the northeast.
