Opis

This is the symbolic image of the town of Larnaca: a salt lake that fills with seawater in winter and dries up in summer, leaving a dazzling crust of salt. The dome and minaret of Hala Sultan Tekke stand on the shore. This oratory houses the tomb of the Prophet Muhammad's aunt; no sooner had she arrived in Cyprus in the 7C, she fell from her mule and died.
