The restored town hall reopened in 2020, relegating the terrible fire of 28 June 2013 to that of a bad memory. The ceilings and plaster cornices of the historic rooms have been recreated. The exterior architecture is as striking as ever. The courtyard is defended by a Gothic surrounding wall and a machicolated rampart walk, reinforced by a belfry. The Italianate main façade of the building was built under Henri IV. The rear façade overlooks Rue des Gentilshommes.
