In addition to the ruins of Basilica A (c 500) and the finds excavated at the sites of Dikili Tash and Sitagri on display in the museum, there is a large theatre dating back to the 4C BC. It was refurbished by the Romans in the 2C, then remodelled in the 3C, when the stage was converted into an arena for gladiator and animal fights. Low reliefs on a pillar at the entrance show Mars and Victory and a splendid bucranium (sculpted ox skull).
