The silhouette of the Sadeddin caravanserai stands out in the vast expanse of the steppe 24km east of Konya. This 13C Seljuk han is situated in an isolated location surrounded by nature and has retained its rather austere grandeur. The portal, made from dark basalt alternating with white marble, is the only external decor, providing a strong contrast with the plain appearance of the walls. Inside the building, the large rectangular courtyard is surrounded by a series of small rooms, with a large hall on the left.
