The church's construction extended from the 11C to the 17C, which accounts for the lack of unity in its appearance. The panels of the main doors in the façade are decorated with bas-reliefs of scenes from the life of Christ. Note St Maurice's Chapel (13C) housing the Holy Sepulchre, a remarkable sculpted piece from the High Middle Ages adorned with three iconographic cycles. The crypt houses the golden plaques of Constance depicting Christ, the eagle of St John, St Conrad and St Pelagius. Fine view from the tower.
