The main building of the monastery is a pretty catholicon with a tile roof and whitewashed walls (12C). It has preserved 12C and 13C frescoes: on the outside wall the Tree of Jesse is depicted, with the Virgin Mary surrounded by the prophets; the inside features the Last Judgement (narthex's eastern wall), Passion of Christ, the Pentecost and the Dormition of the Mother of God (west wall), and the Virgin Mary Surrounded by the Evangelists (apse). The Ioannis Theolgos Chapel was added in the 16C.
