This museum, considered to be one of the finest of its kind in Europe, is dedicated to the traditions of the historic Tyrol region (which once included Trentino and the valleys of the Dolomites). The fine panelled interiors recreate peasant, middle-class and aristocratic life through the Gothic, Renaissance and Baroque periods. Visitors will see models of farms, furniture, Grödner Tal wood sculpture work, masks and costumes, as well as a fine collection of religious folk art.
