On the all-white St. Anne Column side, by widening out into the shape of a square, the Maria-Theresien-Strasse opens up Innbruck's most famous view, towards the Old Town and Nordkette's steep slopes. Among the buildings from various periods that line it, some fine Baroque buildings stand out, such as the following palaces: Lodron (at n° 7), Troyer (at n° 39), Trapp (at n° 38), Sarnthein (at n° 59) and Altes Landhaus (at n° 43), which houses the Tyrol Government.
