Completed in 1931, this work by W.M. Dukok (1884-1974) is a series of terraced, mostly cubic shapes, the volumes of which are all different and either superimposed on one another or harmoniously juxtaposed. The building, which plays tricks on the eye with its horizontal and vertical lines, is dominated by a tall clock tower. The architectural centre in the basement highlights in detail the work of Dudok and his peers.
