Nestled high up in Herceg Novi, Savina Monastery (11C) enjoys a magnificent panoramic view over the Bay of Kotor. It is famous for the Gothic frescoes in the little church, the sumptuous iconostasis in the largest, and other unique pieces. The monastery's treasure is one of the most precious in the country. It contains liturgical silverware and icons, as well as manuscripts, including the Krmcija, a collection of 16C laws.
