This museum is set up in a former convent farmhouse converted into a gin factory in 1803. It has resumed gin production using 19C techniques. The tour takes you through the former stables to the kiln. Note the ground floor steam machine running the millstones and macerator. The 19C distillation equipment is still in working order. Former farmhouse collections deal with the history, packaging and advertising of gin. The tour ends with a tasting session.
