This reserve, set in the magnificent Massif de la Boine, is home to typical Ardennes forest fauna such as deer, stags and wild boars and, in a vast clearing, animals that once lived in the area: bison, brown bears, ibex, chamois, wolves, tarpans (small horses), wild oxen (an extinct species recreated by cross breeding) and Przewalski horses, which originated on the Russian steppe. Visitors can explore the reserve on foot with the option of boarding a small road train (the safari-car) whenever they wish.
