The Church of the Franciscans forms a charming picture with old stalls set up against its walls. The famous Mendicant brothers founded their monastery here in 1240. In the 16C, after the break-up of the order, it belonged to the Franciscan Minorites. The oldest part of the church, the Jacobean chapel, dates back to 1330. Go through the wooden door or make your way through the chapel to the flower-filled cloisters, which are a real haven of tranquillity.
