This museum is devoted to the role of the naval troops since 1622, with a special focus on colonial expeditions from the Second Empire up until 1914. Next to uniforms, arms, drawings, posters, photos and models, you will glimpse more unexpected objects, such as a list of slaves bought in Alger in 1719, a dance certificate issued by the naval infantry and Gallieni's car. The crypt is the final resting place of soldiers killed in the Ardennes in 1870.
