This 126-room Baroque and Rococo building is symmetrical on both its courtyard and garden sides. Three wrought-iron gates open onto the main courtyard, while two main buildings, in a lovely shade of ochre, form a semi-circle. Note the mock Chinese decor on the ground floor and in the Sala Terrena, a summer dining room with a cool white Carrara marble floor. The hall and concert room on the first floor hint at a bygone life of luxury, and at the dazzling festivals hosted by Prince Miklós.
