Accessible via a winding road affording magnificent views, the site of Iasos is well worth the effort of getting here. Located on a peninsula of uneven land carpeted in pine trees, the coastal landscapes of the Aegean Sea live up to their promise, and it is in this mini Eden that the ancient site of Iasos was first built. Wander peacefully between the Agora, standing on top of a Mycenaean necropolis, the impressively restored bouleuterion, a Roman villa decorated with mosaics, and the theatre, from where you'll never tire of the stunning sea views.
