The empty, white and slightly dilapidated Plaza de los Capuchinos is surrounded by the buildings of the monastery of the Capuchins. In the centre, the Christ on the Cross surrounded by lanterns seems abandoned by everyone. Emblematic of Córdoba, it is an object of great devotion, as shown by the flowers and candles placed at its feet. The white marble Christ dates from the late 18C. As you leave by the other side of the square, you come across the lovely Cuesta del Bailío (Bailío Steps).
