Le Nôtre designed this garden in 1662 for the Grand Condé, making the most of the terrain and abundance of water. As you stroll around, you will see the superb landscaped garden (1820) and its "Philosophers' Alleys", St Jean's Chapel, built in 1538, and the Hamlet, which foreshadowed the Trianon de Versailles. Children adore the kangaroo enclosure, which marks the first stage in the rehabilitation project of the Princes of Condé's menagerie.
