This remarkable ethnographic museum, the first section of which is housed in a 17C stately home, showcases the heritage and folklore of the valley through exhibits such as costumes, everyday objects, crafts and explanations about granite and stonework. The cellar, the "grotto" and the theme-based circuit outside (sixty cavities typical of the region) can also be explored. The visit continues in the next-door Casa Respini-Moretti with a presentation of the Roman Mogheno Necropolis, discovered in 1994.
