The church of Celanova is part of a famous and huge monastery. It presents a Baroque façade with an air of Classicism, vaults decorated with coffers and geometrical lines and, in the back of the apse, an immense retable (1697). To the right of the church, the San Miguel chapel (937) is one of the rare Mozarabic monuments that has reached us in modern times in a good state. The beautiful cloisters were not completed until the 18C.
