This circular monument, measuring approximately 12m in diameter, dating from 1350 BCE, was modified at the time of the Genoese. A paved corridor leads to the small central cella (chamber). Was it a place of worship or a surveillance post? No-one knows. Whatever the case, there is a lovely panorama over the gulf of Porto-Vecchio. Note: the site is devoid of safety barriers, so not appropriate for children.
