Adjoining the Eski Aynali Çarsi, the Koza Han (the "Silk Cocoon" caravanserai, 1490) has retained its original function as a trading place for silkworms, with countless shops within its walls. The south entrance (on Gazi Camii Parki) leads directly to the first floor, which used to accommodate merchants, while the shops and stables would have been on the ground floor. A small octagonal mosque (masgid) stands in the courtyard above a large pool, where a few tables and chairs invite you to take a break.
