Although there is nothing special about these Turkish baths for men from the outside, the interior is a different story. Once inside the baths (built in 1556 for the pasha Mustapha Sokoli), you come to a large octagonal pool in marble, surrounded by eight columns which support a semi-circular dome with oculi through which coloured beams of light reflect and dance on the water. In each corner, there is a pool where the temperature ranges from very cold to very hot.
