The Focke Museum is well worth a visit. In the foyer, the history of the city is presented in eight themes, while the shelves of the Schaumagasin display hundreds of pieces. Prehistory and the early history of the region are covered in an annexe. The Riensberg building, used for temporary exhibitions, is a fine example of an aristocratic property from the second half of the 18C. Finally, the farmhouse dating back to 1586 offers an overview of the so-called Land Bremen.
