The port facilities are made up of an external port protected by two sea walls (one 3 250m long), an outer harbour with a tidal basin for travellers and amateur yachtsmen and women, and small trawlers; the Bassin Napoléon and Bassin Loubet are used by larger fishing boats. The maritime terminal and Quai Gambetta come to life when the trawlers unload their catch, some of which is sold here.
