This elegant abode, tucked away in the countryside, comes as something of a surprise. In 1759, Leblanc de Marnaval began building this Louis XV residence, which was subsequently owned by the illustrious Talleyrand, among others. Its impressive banquet hall with trompe-l'oeil decoration, landscaped grounds (80ha), immaculate formal garden, fine antiques and gracious architecture take visitors on a pleasant journey back in time to the 18C.
