More than 150 years old, this rural cemetery garden is one of the prettiest in the country, nationally known for its collection of memorial sculpture and handsome Victorian landscape. You can stroll the 275-acre grounds, through stately groves of trees and around a small pond, enjoying scenic vistas along the way. Many prominent figures are buried at the still-active cemetery, including suffragist Lucy Stone, poets Anne Sexton and ee cummings, and playwright Eugene O'Neill.
