Bostonian retain great affection for this brick church dating from 1729. It was from the pulpit here that noted orators Samuel Adams and James Otis inspired the colonists to take arms against the British. Inspired by the works of Christopher Wren, the building has modest brick façade plus a tower crowned by a wooden belfry. The interior was converted into stables by the English during the Boston siege. Today, it is a museum that retraces pre-revolutionary events.
