Named after the hamlet of Sobrón which sits high above the road, the gorge is accessed by a winding route which offers some fine views over the gorge and surrounding peaks. Below, the 20km-long Èbre Gorge is marked by a streak of rocky and well-irrigated wooded landscape. The most beautiful section is after the dam, towards Tobalinilla, where there are gullies and a road that closely follows the flowing water.
