These huge "wet" limestone caves in the Whetstone Mountains were discovered in 1974. There were formed following the gradual retreat of the sea 200 000 years ago. The Rotunda-Throne Room is home to five different types of limestone formations created by the movement of water, including a 58ft column known as Kubla Khan. Big Room Complex boasts some beautiful multicoloured rocks, but is not accessible in summer as thousands of bats nest here.
