It is located in the former 15C-16C town mansion of the Dukes of Burgundy. The 14C winery, entered through a huge gateway, is home to a splendid collection of wine presses and vats. The museum relates the history of Burgundy's vineyards and wine growing, taking in cooperage, trade and culture. The reception hall, called the "Embassy of French Wine", is adorned with Aubusson tapestries, one by Lurçat (Wine is the Source of Life) and others by Michel Tourlière (The Winegrower and Wild Birds).
