Dismantled by Napoleon in 1800 and rebuilt in the 19C, this imposing fortress looms high over the valley of the Dora Baltea. It houses a comprehensive and lively museum, which uses testimonies of daily life, both of yesteryear and the present day, as well as original interactive installations to provide an exhaustive illustration of life in the valley: history, geography, nature, culture, sport and education. You have to take four lifts to reach the museum.
