The cathedral in its current guise was built in the late 13C. Inside, note the magnificent chancel with its finely sculpted Gothic walls, and a rear façade, from the 16C, presenting low reliefs that depict the martyrdom of the saint. Her alabaster sarcophagus was carved by Tuscan artists in the 14C. Bernat Martorell's Transfiguration, a classic work of Catalan art, stands out among the altarpieces in the chapels around the ambulatory. Enjoy delightful views over the city from the cathedral's terraces.
