The 14C Gothic church of St Fridolin, named after the missionary who converted the Alemannin in the 6C, is a fine example of conversion in the Baroque style: the once pointed arcades were filled in to become rounded arches, the vaulting was lowered to make it easier to decorate, and the tall windows were rounded off. The Treasury contains St Fridolin's shrine, a magnificent 18C pîece from Augsburg, in the form of a horse-drawn carriage.
