A few steps from the workshop, founded in 1764 and still in operation, and housed in the small chateau that served as the home to its directors, the museum charts the history of the Baccarat crystal glassworks and showcases some fantastic old and contemporary pieces. These include the massive Zenith candelabra made out of twisted red and transparent crystal, the ewer gifted to Charles X and a magnificent table laid with tableware commissioned by royalty and other dignitaries.
