Rolin Museum is divided into four sections and showcases a fine collection that bears witness to the opulence of Augustodunum. Two rooms are devoted to chefs-d'oeuvre of Romanesque statuary by two masters from the Burgundian School: Gislebertus, who created the Temptation of Eve, and Friar Martin, who produced the Tomb of St Lazarus. Sculpture from the 14C and 15C, including the Nativity of Cardinal Rolin, is exhibited on the upper level. European painting from the 17C is also well represented.
