To get to the southeast of the Peloponnese, take the coastal road, which crosses varied landscapes. The route is at first rather monotonous with its rugged shores, but here and there it conceals peaceful creeks with crystalline water. After Leonidio, another world appears, dominated by the Parnonas mountains, its cool and aromatic slopes inhabited by long-horned goats. As you come out of the mountains, Geraki marks the frontier: you are leaving Arcadia and entering Lakonia.
