This museum, a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 2005 and refurbished in 2016, occupies the house and printing room of Christophe Plantin. It is filled with old furniture, tapestries, gilt-edged leathers, paintings, old presses, and collections of drawings, engravings, manuscripts and valuable editions. These tell the story of humanism, printing and ancient books in the Netherlands in the 16C and 17C.
