Opis

Take a cruise to appreciate these three temples that were rescued from the waters and now stand on the left bank of Lake Nasser. Wadi el-Seboua Temple was built by Rameses II, well after Abu Simbel; a colossus bearing the effigy of the pharaoh can be seen here. It is well worth the trip to see Sphinx Alley and the reliefs of the sanctuary, featuring a painting of St Peter - proof that the temple was used by Christians. Like the curiously north-facing Dakka Temple, Meharaqqa Temple, which has a rare spiral case, was completed under Augustus.
